You want to locate the power switch on your heat pump. Most Trane models have the switch under the nameplate sticker at the top of the unit. You can also refer to the owner’s manual to locate the switch. To reset your Trane heat pump, turn the switch to the off position and wait 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
