Infiltration rates vary throughout the year. It is greater in winter when the temperature difference between inside and outside is greater. For example, 75 o F inside and 0 o F outside in winter and 75 o F inside and 95 o F outside in summer. Infiltration rates depend on wind velocity and direction and also on the building envelope construction.
