Dual rated capacitors have a “C” ( common terminal ) a “Herm” or H terminal which is for the compressor and a “Fan” or F terminal which is for the condenser fan motor. Change your air conditioning or Heat Pump Compressor capacitor if it is bulged, leaking, has loose or corroded terminals or whenever you have a compressor changed.
