There are two types of VRF systems; air-cooled and water-cooled. The air-cooled VRF system is just like your house air conditioner. It has a blower fan and cooling coil. It uses ambient air to carry away the heat. On the other hand, the water-cooled VRF system uses water to carry away the heat.
