Listen for a long, loud beep when you hit a break in the line. Additionally, see if your LED screen lights up at all. Check all of the refrigerant lines until you’ve determined where the leak is. UV dye is a useful way to detect A/C leaks. Talk to an HVAC technician and see if they’ll perform this test on your home refrigerant lines.
