I bought a new Trane heat pump last December. I noticed that it is running on “AUX HEAT” (heat strips) and the outdoor unit is NOT kicking on. I have a 10 year warranty, but the Trane dealer can’t come out for 2 weeks. I can get the outdoor unit to power up in AC, but not in heat.
