Can it be installed that way? Yes, it can be, but it’s going to be a little more difficult that a normal DIY installation. If I’m understanding what you’re saying, the line set is going to have to go straight down through the interior wall. So, that means you’re going to have to bend that line set a full 90 degrees, which could cause problems.
